My favorite was what I did the following year as NME, I had all the bigs prepare bags and the NM had to guess by what was in the bag who they thought their big was and why. It was always amusing because I wouldn't let anyone but in anything that was obvious (like I wouldn't have been able to put in buttons).

I "got a lil" this year. We don't have a whole process, just reveal during/after the pledging (MIT?) ceremony. (I hope thats not secret ritual, please let me know sisters!) I gave mine a lil wooden heart shaped box that I painted with red (one of SAI's colors) and then drew some stuff on it, with stickers spelling out her name. Ohhh, and it had jolly ranchers and tootsie rolls in it
Apparently she loves trinket boxes, I didn't even know.
