Wink What's Today?

Usually women get very excited about special days/ events. Many males have received tongue-lashings (among other things) because of their lack of preparation and seem genuinely puzzled. Here the question... do you think most men genuinely look forward to special days/ events, such as Valentines Day, or do you think that they dread it?

Cool The Millions and Millions

It depends yearly events are good but don't ask me to remember the first time that we watched Blind date at your couch! But if a guy forgets an important event please hang him up!

Well, I know that my man loves these special days, but he dreads them as well. He dreads them because they are all so close together.

Our anniversary is one week. My birthday is the next. And Valentine's Day follows soon after. So, my boyfriend has a lot of responsibilities to handle in just a short period of time.

And, being the princess that I am, I expect a lot. I love to be spoiled and he loves to spoil me. So, when this time of year rolls around a simple card just will not do.

TRUE STORY......Two weeks after our first date, my husband and I were sitting at at his place watching television and he turns to me with this Big "A" smile and says..."Do you what today is?"...well I look and him like he's stupid and say "Saturday" (very sarcastically of course) well he was crushed that I didn't remember the "anniversary" of our first date......

Now don't start feeling sorry for him and getting mushy....7 years later I still have to put my birthday on the calendar so that I can at least get a card.... go figure

At the end of the year I go through my old calendar and mark important dates on me new calendar. That way I don't forget anything. If my girl forgets I'm always happy to "act" hurt because she did not remember an important date.

I like special occasions. I enjoy seeing the look of surprise and anticipation on my sweet and tender AKA's face as she says something like "you should not have purchased anything - and then asks "what is it" before she opens the gift.

I want to try the rose thing. Where you throw petals everywhere even in the tub. Is this stuff hard to clean up?
