I work in the Hawaii office of a large national incorporated non-profit. Depending on what time of the year it is, I'm either a Grants Specialist or an Event Coordinator. Wearing different hats makes the job exciting and very worthwhile. I don't think I've ever had a dull moment here.
One of the best parts of my job (besides helping others, of course) probably has to be the networking. At 28 years old, I've rubbed elbows with many of Hawaii's community/government leaders, CEOs, top executives, etc. just by being a representative of my organization. I don't have too many friends my age who can say that.
