What the kids are doing these days
I must be old, because I am not sure what to make of the phenomenon I see in pictures these days. Pic after pic, everyone is making goofy faces (sucking in their cheeks like a fishy) and flipping a sideways "peace" sign. Sometimes they label them "gangsta" pics.
Can someone explain to this old lady what this is all about? I would ask my cousins but I don't think I am cool enough to talk to about it  .

It could be worse. Take your fingers and make a V. Put the V in front of your mouth and stick your tongue out.
I don't think what you've described has any meaning at all. I think it's just kids doing a stupid pose. They see other kids doing it and they follow.

With 6 Greek daughters, I have seen the whole gamut of party picture poses. Charlie's Angels. Girls pretending to kiss other girls. You name it...

Seriously, OTW is definitely right, it could be worse. I graduated school a year ago, and I look at pictures of the girls that are in now... and lordy, sometimes I want to be like... TAKE THAT DOWN!
Also, like OTW said, it's a thing of kids seeing other kids doing it, and mimicking it....
I've made my share of funny faces and doing stupid things, but not like I see now...

I'm sick of everyone throwing up the middle finger or the Sufi sign. So unoriginal.
I, on the other hand, kiss my own boob. Not many chicks can do that.
