Bless her little coked up heart.
I don't understand why y'all are so down on the father here? What has he done besides have a marginal music career? Does that alone make him a poor father? I spent some time in the trenches working on a semi-high profile divorce (I say semi because I did actually see a few national publications pick up some of the "drama" associated with our case). The case I worked on was between a prominent NYC news anchor (mother) and a former lead singer of a boy band (father). I can guarantee you what is printed in the papers and what is reality are two distinct things. The media in these cases, or at least mine, took the grains of truth they could ascertain from (maybe?) going over the court file and I would speculate talking to the mother, and then fashioning its own story and conclusions therefrom.
Is K-fed a "bad guy" because he goes out and has a good time when he's not watching the kids? Since the court hasn't declared him to be an unfit parent, and trust me, if that were an option, Spears' legal team would have been all over it, I'm going to assume that the court knows better than the "Star" or whatever grocery-checkout publication is carrying whatever information.
Oh -- and most states require there to be some sort of material change in circumstances to disturb a custody arrangement, so Federline is likely going to have to really screw something up before Spears has the opportunity to seek to regain custody.

I agree. Say what you will about KFed being an unfit parent or that he's only after Brit's money but he has never been seen driving without a license, wasted at a club when he's supposed to be watching the kids, coked up, etc. In fact, you hardly ever see pictures of KFed with the kids. I really think it's because he doesn't go out searching for the paparazzi like Britney does. Shar Jackson has even said that in spite of everything that happened with her and KFed that he is still a wonderful father to his children. Anyone is a better parent than Britney at this point.

I think a lot of the K-Fed hate comes from the fact that he dumped Shar, while she was pregnant, for Britney. It made him look like a gold digger. Whether that was the real story, who knows.
However, I'd rather see the kids with him than with Granny Spears, that's for sure. She'll be trotting them around to auditions the minute they walk in the door.

Loose vs. Lose
Does anyone else cringe? I know it's the old school teacher in me, but it's a big pet peeve.

^^^ Yeah, I cringe, but it's starting to be less of an issue for me. I guess I realize that people are going to constantly misspell things (definate, seperate, dessert/desert, just to name a few).
I feel so bad for these two kids. Their lives will never be normal - even by celebrity standards. Tragic, really.

Unfortunately, she isn't spending it on the therapy that she apparently needs.
Personally, when I heard that she had until Wednesday to deliver custody, but she went ahead and gave them to K-Fed on Monday; that said it all, as far as I am concerned.
