So I just got the Starter Set from ULTA today because my facial-lady said the foundation I've been using is bad for my skin and recommended I try some of the mineral foundation with SPF.

I'm kind of scared b/c I don't want to look orange.

And WTH is the difference between the BareVitamins & Foundation Primer? Can you use one or the other?

They probably end up doing the same thing but are marketed differently. I use a primer myself but I use Philosophy's because I like it better.

If you picked one of the two colors in your color family you'll be okay I've only had one brand of foundation turn my skin orange and that was Cover Girl (years ago).
