Big/Lil Sis Revelation

we do a candle pass thing.
All the sisters stand in a circle and then one by one the phis stand in the center of the circle. When a phi is in the center we pass a candle around and when the candle gets to the big sister she blows it out.

Our chapter has a typical class size of 40 to 50, so this year we did this:

Each big chooses/makes a pair of shoes and wraps it up. The littles come in and unwrap their presents and put the shoes on, then they file into a room. The bigs are against the walls, but there is a curtain held up between them and the littles. The littles find the place to stand by finding the foot with the matching shoe (so she looks around and finds her big's foot sticking out from under the curtain). Once everyone has found the right shoe, the curtains are dropped and viola! It's really cute

we did a candle decoration and then we made them similar candles. then they had to walk into a room and pick up a clue with their name, go to another room and pick out the candle with their name, the go to the room where we were and find the matching candle. It was so funny because many of them totally had no idea where to look since there were like 44 candles being held out in a big bunch at them! We finally just started walking up to them like "whatever". I think it would work better if they entered in small groups.
