P.S. Cutie, she's very independent and she'd be the first to tell you she'll listen to what others have to say but she's calling the shots. It's her life and they'll be her decisions. That's my girl! She asked me do some research for her and I agreed. I think she can take it from her.

Well, as long as she asked you, then I understand that. It's one thing for a parent to take the initiative to do research and another thing for her to do it herself. But if I were her, I would rather do it myself, because you're talking about a life long commitment and it's best for the person themselves to learn about the process and keep an open mind.

Yes, being a parent does make you worry what goes on campus. But you should encourage her to do the research herself and not rely on you anymore.

Oh believe me, she'll be doing the lions share after this forum...lol She's going to school and working so I help only when "absolutely necessary." My 4 kids are "very independent." We(their dad & I) wouldn't have it any other way. Pretty proud of them. Great kids....oops adults.
Thanks......
