She'd also like to know how any org (but you know, maybe one particular one) selects their members if they don't haze. As she pursues her org. of choice, she wants to be hazed, but only in uplifting and meaningful ways because you shouldn't tear each other down. You know, as long as she's ok with it.

Also she needs to be referenced to the rules of "there," "their," and "they're."
Thanks for the recap! Now I don't have to read the beginning of this thread or any of the other 5 she has started!

Wannabe, no one here can help you. And no one wants to have the conversation you want to have. Please stop posting and posting and re-posting the same topic, it appears to have been fully covered. Try to be invited to join the org you want, find out FROM THEM when you ARE THERE what will be involved in the membership process, then either go through it, or don't. Best wishes!

You're welcome to both of you. She's just fishing for info, and IMO, protecting herself from harsh criticism by also having a sad depressing story. It's like the reality show character you want to make it because he lost a testicle to cancer. Few people are THAT comfortable talking about personal issues when new to a public area.

I'm making you a cyber t-shirt that says "Psych majors do it better."

Hey, don't go knocking CJ from Top Chef. I'm a Malarkey fan myself, but CJ's cool.
