I've always hated the phrases "I got saved" and "I found Jesus" and the like.
It puts too much emphasis on the "I" part, and makes it seem like something you did. YOU didn't do anything. God did EVERYTHING and it is through his grace and mercy that HE saved you and JESUS found you. Also, "I got saved" etc implies that it's something that happened recently. God saved you before you were even a thought in your momma's head.
