The only thing I've ever used was a squeeze bottle with salt water. Today was the first day I saw Neti Pot.

I don't know who all is from Texas, but now that all the horrible rain has finally stopped it seems like everything is in full bloom.

I just started using a Neti Pot for my allergies and it seriously makes a difference!!! I can actually BREATHE!

It's kinda gross and feels weird until you get the hang of it, but I found it works really well in conjunction with my regular allergy meds -- Zyrtek and Flonase. I highly reccomend it if you are a serious allergy sufferer.

Good luck with recruitment

as for the allergies. I'm on Zyrtec, but prior to that I was on Singulair. I remember the doctor telling me that I could take Singulair and Claritin because the drugs did two different things.

I take benedryl with my Zyrtec and I haven't had a reaction. I would just give your doctor a call and ask them what other drugs you can take with the Zyrtec. WebMD might also have information.

You are okay to take Singulair and Zyrtec or Claritin together, but you should never ever mix Zyrtec, Claritin, Benedryl or any other Antihistamine. These drugs can cause serious side effects that can actually lead to death! Flonase and Sudafed can also be used with any of these drugs. Be careful about what you take! And if you take any cold remedy pills that have sudafed or other decongestants mixed with Tylenol and an antihistamine, don't take any of your prescription meds with it. Just some friendly advice from a doctor other than your own, definitely consult your own doctor before mixing different drugs.
