Y'all pray for the PNMs, especially after second cuts. I'm serious here. It's an awful thing to be cut suddenly by lots of groups, which the sororities must do due to release figures. Most of the sororities end up with quota, by far most of the PNMs are placed, but it's terrible to have a great couple of days and then--WHAM. You open your envelope and you've gone from about 14 groups to 6.

I know... several of my sister's close friends are rushing at Auburn and I'm just crossing my fingers and toes for those ladies!!!

Tomorrow, tomorrow tomorrow. I know some can't wait for it to start and some wish they had another month before it did. I just hope that it goes well for all involved.

according to my daughter, who is rushing at Auburn this year, there are approximately 1200 girls rushing this year at Auburn.....
they were told this last night at their informational meeting....

i just got my 1st report from the little sister. she sounded totally relieved and said the day went much better than she expected (we had tried to prepare her for the worst possible scenarios). i know i'm totally relieved, even though my feelings don't matter at this point!!!

About 5 years ago, there was a rumor going around Auburn that Britney Spears was going to be attending Auburn and rushing. Many students swore to me that it was the truth. Can you imagine trying to conduct rush while Britney was in the room?
