Atomic Bomb

Brigadier General Paul Tibbits (Sigma Nu) was the pilot of the Enola Gay (Named after his mother) who flew the plane that dropped the A-Bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. Tibbits would have also been the pilot of the plane to drop the thrid A-Bomb had Japan not surrendered. At the time of the surrender the A-Bomb was on its way from Utah to California to be shipped to the South Pacific.
