Well as the last person on GC to see this movie, I guess I'll throw in my 2 cents.

I really don't think anyone will walk away with the impression that this movie is an semblance of black greek life - quite frankly because I doubt if they could get past the bad acting and storyline of the movie. I know I couldn't. Shoot, the dancing was about the only semi-interesting part of the movie.

Megan Goode really needs to step up her acting game. I'm getting really tired of her ALWAYS playing somebody's girl. I mean, I know roles are scarce in Hollywood but seriously, I think this is one of the reason why I don't like her as an actress - you can pretty much predict her reactions in scenes by now.

Nope, Soror! I haven't seen it either. By time I see it there will be a Stomp the Yard II.

Well if its any consolation yall, I watched on cable for free. So I really didn't have any excuse not too - well aside from wasting those 2 hours of my life.

I watch Stomp the Yard movie, but I don't have to watch the whole thing. I skip to the parts I want to see so it takes about 20 minutes I guess. I guess my kids have the same opinion as some of you on the board b/c the movie is not in it's case and no one seems to know where it is.

ETA: Hey, she didn't play anyone's girl in "You got served"...did she?
No, you're right! She played Beautifull "with two L's" The independent best friend of the lead girl. But they should've cast Megan cause frankly, lead wasn't that good.

No I was on another message board and if I remember correctly someone said something about seeing a trailer for a sequel. I dunno though, maybe she was confused. I didn't see anything on IMDB about it. She might of just seen an advertisement for Burning Sands or some other stepping movie. You know "Greek" is hot right now in Hollywood.

Wow, that would be...uh...something. Usually, with sequels, there is some storyline to be resolved. In this case, there are no dangling storylines because they were not that strong in the first place. Maybe another school/group...?

That is what my mom said! I am sooooo use to her being somebody's girl I thought that she was the GF in Drumline, but she wasn't but I can see that role being for her as well.

^^^That part was played by Zoe Saldana. I think Megan's last role was in Get Rich of Die Tryin' where she played the part of ....Fifty's girl.
