Alpha Eta Sigma has been consistently active since 1941. The chapter maintains on average between 40 to 60 sorors, sometimes more. Many of the undergrad members from schools in Philly and the surrounding areas: University of PA., Temple, Cheyney, Penn State, West Chester, Lincoln, and others end up transferring to this chapter upon graduation, although there is another chapter now in Chester, PA. (Theta Psi Sigma) that was chartered in 1999 I believe. I recently reactivated with Alpha Eta Sigma for the upcoming sorority year which begins in September.
