Question Philos and Resume'

I have a question about philos. I was updating my resume and my friend told me that a philo was a friend of sgrho. At my school we didn't have an active chapter. I was planning on pledging but they never formed a line for three years.

Getting to the point I attended her and helped out with the grad chapter activities and attended most if not all the roll outs and etc. If there was any type of social activity at my school I was also in charge of finding the rhos and informing them of certain activities.

My question is this...if my school didn't have an active chapter am I still considered a philo? (they have one now...but I'm no longer at that university)

Also, I've moved so how can I find philos and rhos in my area. Also, is this something worthwhile of putting on my resume'. (sorry for being so wordy and not getting to the point.)

Cool

Hi "Friend"! I just e-mailed a young lady about the same thing and then read your post. Philos are dedicated friends of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. They do community service with us and attend regional conferences and Boule's. They have their own officers also.

If you are at a 4 year school and planning to graduate then you would do best to affiliate yourself with a graduate chapter for membership as a Soror. The young lady that I e-mailed was at a junior college and had no definite plans to pursue a bachelor's at a 4 year school. Philos are primarily women who are active in the community, have high standards, are not pursuing a bachelor's degree but are still interested in the goals and upholding the purpose of our sisterhood.
