Rush Fall 2007
We are from a small school and we need help with rush. We are a fairly new sorority(2002) and we need some new ideas for rush. Can anyone help us? Thanks.

You're going to get out of your question what you put into it.
Take some time and figure out what exactly you need help with, and ask some spesfic questions.

yes, that question needs more detail!
Rush is used to inform. Thats the biggest part. Let Potentials see what you are about. Get to know them and let them get to know you and your group!

Well I remember some of the events that sisters and PNM have loved the most....
*Potlucks, desertlucks, Fondu, etc...
*Ice skating
*Dinners
*Movie nights/ Tv nights of whatever show is popular or 'girl clasics' like friends or sex in the city
*Events with the brothers. (meet up with sisters/ PNM first)
I do come from a school where greek life is rather un competitive. Some may not be ideal at a super competitive school

Also, agree with the above comments... what do you do already?!
I'm also in a newer local sorority (2001) so we may be able to help each other out!

I brought my local from near death (5 sisters) and now we have over 30-40 actives.... if you give more details, we'd be able to help more, I know that when i was rush chair, social, etc, GC helped me tremendously! You can PM me if you want.

Hi! These are our events for Fall 07 rush, I hope they help you out!
Day #1 - Informational meeting - Takes place the Wed prior to rush week beginning.
Day #2 (Mon) - Scavenger Hunt - We have 4 sisters (we were just created in June) and are going to divide the girls up into 4 groups. Each group goes around campus with a sister and completes the items on the list. The sister's only role is to take pictures of the group completing the items to show as proof at the end of the hunt. The winning team gets a prize.
Day #3 (Tues) - Clue night - Sort of like a scavenger hunt but the girls have to work together to figure out clues that will lead them to a final destination (ice cream shoppe).
Day #4 (Thurs - giving them Wed off) - Field night - Think back to elementary/middle school when you had field day. We'll have relay races, three legged races, etc.
Day #5 (Fri) - Diamond Dinner - We're going out to dinner with all of the girls. Pretty self explanatory, lol.
I think we did pretty well with planning our events. We're excited!
