Hope Groups

Sorry to Hijack your forum ladies, but I have a question. I am working with some other ladies to start a Alumnae Panhellenic for my area. I have been doing some research online to determine what other NPC groups already have alum groups in my area. I saw on the DG website that there is a "Hope group" in my area. So my question is..... What is a hope group?

I *believe* this is a group that wants to become an official alum chapter.

My understanding is that there are 3 levels of alumnae groups within Delta Gamma: alumnae chapters, alumnae associations, and hope groups. Chapters require a minimum of 30 members and have a certain number of required activities each year. Associations have 10-30 members and have a smaller number of required events each year. Hope groups have 4-10 members and no required events.

Yes, they're working towards becoming an association or chapter.
