Haha, isn't that weird? I remember someone have carved "KD" into the ceiling above my first freshman dormroom (switched rooms later because my roommate was crazy).

Over the next few days I went to 3 parties, 1 each for Mercedes, Jeep, and Honda.

Wednesday-Mercedes
Again I really liked everyone I met and felt really at home here. They all seemed interested in me and I had a really deep connection. The only thing stopping me from this was worrying about the effects of my former friends.
Thursday(we signed our bid cards after this night)
Jeep: I went alone to this because my roomate and her friend both decided they hated it. I saw a lot of people who I had connected with the last two times, and they had a really sweet ceremony that almost made me cry. However, i had started to hear rumors that this sorority wasnt really liked by the others, adn they had a reputation for giving away their letters..so i wasnt sure.
Honda: I only went to this because of my friends adn the fact that it was right before the time to sign bids anyway. It was nice but I really had no firm connection here.

We went to the room for signing our bid cards and sat down. I knew that I would not even put Lexus on my card, since I wouldnt accept a bid from them, and they wouldnt have given me one. I really wanted to join a sorority and decided to put down all of the rest, including Honda.

Now we had to wait until Friday night between 7-9 to recieve our bids in our dorms. I knew that I would be happy with either Jeep or Mercedes, but if I didnt get Mercedes I would wonder why since I had already established a connection with them.

Bid Day!

I remember being really nervous about getting a phone call all day, and planning with my roomate and her friends to go out that night no matter what happened. After five came, we knew that we had both gotten a bid somewhere. We raced around to get in the shower by six so that we wouldnt miss the panhell reps coming to our doors with the bids. All of a sudden it was eight and both of us hadnt gotten anything, and neither had Amanda.
Finally when we were both about to go crazy there was a knock and the girl asked us if we accepted our bids, and we both said yes. We opened them together, and being the smartest people in the world, couldnt figure out where we got our bids..then we calmed down and saw

I advised at Bentley for four years, up until February right after this recruitment because I moved to NC. I knew it was Bentley before she listed the sororities, I know this school inside and out. I am more attached to this chapter than my own, I miss them soooooooo much!

To the OP, congrats on DPhiE. I'm glad to see you liked Alpha Phi too!
