I haven't gotten the brochure yet, but I'm confused as to why they've started to offer diamonds, as diamonds have nothing to do with ASA. Sounds like a way for them to make more money.
I do like the idea of white gold (white IS one of our colors). I think my dream badge would be white gold, all pearl, and the letters, crown, and star engraved, like they used to do before HJ took over.

I think that they need to offer an all-ruby badge since the ruby is the jewel for actives and alumnae.

I agree.
The only reason IMO for diamonds to be on a badge would be if it had diamonds, rubies, topaz and emeralds - for our primary and secondary colors. And I have a feeling that would be pretty tacky looking.

Diamonds, rubies, emeralds, topaz, a crown and a star. Why don't we just get guards that say "Merry Christmas".

I received this in the mail last week. I like the new badge, but I wouldn't want to trade mine in (I have the ruby/pearl one). What would I do with the old one? Send it to HQ? It was expensive, though. So I am going to stick with the one I have until I die.

According to the Initiated Members' Badge Cost Form, when you buy a new badge, you can either keep the one you have now or donate it to headquarters. If I get a new one, I will definitely keep the one I have now. And I have to say that I am jealous of you because you have the badge that I want.
