If a girlfriend ever called me boo or poo bear, I might would have to call it quits, if she didn't stop calling me those names. Just more ghetto terminology.
Heeey, slow your roll there bookie poo poo. I had a pooh bear once--when I was like, 15. I definitely wasn't "ghetto" at that age. Besides, there was a story behind that, so it actually meant something. Therefore, I claim exemption.

For real though, the last guy I dated continually called me "Baby" and "Baby girl" even though I repeatedly asked him not to. I HATE THAT MESS!!! IMO, "baby girl" is what you call your daughter, not your equal. For heaven's sake, my dad and my man CANNOT have the same nickname for me. It's more the principle that anything. If you know I hate it and you can't respect my wish to be called by my name, what else are you not going to respect? It was a warning sign to me--one of many. He got cut from the team.

o.k. Then you and I have certain names we don't like to be called. You don't like to be called baby girl (if I were a woman I wouldn't either) and I don't like to be called what I mentioned previously.(pooh, bookie, mookie, boo, whatever, whatever, whatever) The fact of the matter is I HATE THAT SH... You broke up with the guy for calling you baby girl, and for not respecting your request, and I avoid women that use the names I don't like. I'm not calling YOU ghetto, but I sure as hell think those nick names are ghetto. Yup, those names are warning signs to me too. That's what I mean when I say certain items, words, backgrounds, ect send certain signals/warning signs.

So...it's more like the spirit and vibes that you get from people who do those things and not the things themselves? Dude, you sound so much more human when you put it that way. You should explain it like that more often.

WTH?? Who says "mookie"??? My aunt calls me something like that. pisses me clean off everytime (I think that's why she does it). But yeah, that other one definitely had a story attached. I don't think I'd just randomly start calling someone "Pooh Bear" that's odd. Though I did call my ex "honey," which turned into "honey bee." Don't ask how; it's embarassing.

But for real, can a girl really get away with not being physically 'sexy?' Because, whatever men say, I've never heard of anyone saying "Oooh baby, your mind is such a turn on...I mean, the way you read just drives me crazy!!"
