As for the WiFi being everywhere, Rudey, maybe in larger cities. While it's pretty much everywhere in downtown OKC, where I live, that's not a very large area at all. I'd assume most mid-size cities like OKC are similar in that regard.
The monthly cost thing would be about the same for me. Do you get to keep your rollover minutes in an iPhone plan?

I dont think they get rollover....

Why wouldn't they? My BB is AT&T and mine roll-over.
- Unless they figure the people who run out and get iphones the day they come out have too much disposable income in the first place and really wouldn't mind not getting the roll-over minutes.

with that logic, will people who get iPhone later on eventually get rollover minutes? if the product is as big a hit as the iPod (and maybe not cause there are already similar products out there), there were future generations, and potentially cheaper and more affordable for the masses (well the target market masses). so... do i get rollover minutes if i buy an iPhone, say, a year from now? 2 years? hmm...

I would say two years because thats when ATT's exclusive contract with Apple ends. When you have T-mobile, Sprint, ETC all carrying iphones you will start seeing service pricing wars, especially since they will all be playing catch-up to ATT.

They're fine unless you actually have to talk to them. I've been on AT&T now for several years and they are far superior to what I had before (Sprint).
They don't offer Verizon in OKC, so I have no experience with that, but I've heard bad things. Also, they have proprietary phones with proprietary software which disables a lot of the phone's functionality.
