Remember when 30 seemed SO old?
Sigh. At least I still look like I am in my 20s. Let's see how long that lasts!
These are my suggestions. I am married, but I like to think that I am stil in the loop.
Ideas for date outfits - dark jeans (no coin slot), kitten heels, cute/sexy (not slutty) top; a cute dress with flats; or an a-line skirt and twinset. No spaghetti straps, empire waists, teeny miniskirts or belly tops. Bring a sweater if it's at night. Don't do khaki anything; it's too bland. If you wear black, don't do it all over, and add something with a punch of color. NO panty lines, but do cover your bits. No bra straps showing. Make sure your girls are well-supported.
Exfoliate lips with a toothbrush after you get out of the shower then put on some vaseline. No lipliner darker than your lipstick. No goopy lipgloss. Natural makeup/tones. Skip the fake eyelashes.
Hair down and/or natural. Don't use too much product.
No perfume - try lightly scented lotion.
No noisy jewelry. Cute earrings (studs or small-to-medium hoops). Nice bracelet or simple necklace. This isn't the time to wear your tiffany jewelry from dad from your HS graduation. No honking right-hand diamond.
Be comfy or else you will fiddle with your clothes. Don't buy something new. Iron your clothes. Polish your toes a pretty color, and pale or clear on your fingertips.
Try using whitestrips for your teeth, but don't overdo it. I did the 7-day aquafresh trays - $32 and very natural looking.
Charge your phone, keep $20 in your pocket for cab fare, and let a friend know where you are going and when you should be home, if you don't know your date well.
