Yup, I sure did only after the 'Roz needs special education' post. If we (the D9) like to present ourselves as the best of Black society, * I feel* that low, negative attacks on others is beneath us. We should be better than that. My comments were to express my disappointment in how some of us were attacking Roz. If Roz wants to present and handle her org that way let her.

I agree. But in this thread when Roz admitted her part in all of this people kept the isht going so it seems it was serious for them. When people keep posting and responding it is serious, not life altering serious, but enough that they feel they have to respond.

Actually not very well. But over the years that I have been on GC I have figured out the personalities of many of the regular posters on GC. Some people have been very consistent, some have gotten worse, some have actually gotten better. There is a certain NPC member who has dramatically improved since I have been on GC. When she posts to people she no longer uses cuss words and angry language.

Maybe I'm just an optimist at heart but I figure new thread, new introduction. Atleast that's the way it should be unless there is a history of someone being a certain way or being perceived as a certain way. I still say that not everyone here speaks with one voice and there are those (like me) that will not care about what happened here in another thread. Like I said in earlier posts, we come from many different walks of life and are not carbon copies of eachother. I encourage you to move on to another thread and to continue to explore and benefit from the knowledge of others regarding "greek" life here on gc. It's really not that serious and I've found that people voice their opinions more freely on message boards simply because they can and no one will really police them. In person the situation would of course be handled much differently and with much more regard. That's why people constantly make comments like "It's just a message board" because it is and nothing that happens on a message board should be taken so seriously that you actually stop posting and communicating with others especially when you can only benefit from continuing. Although I do understand that it's only natural to feel personally attacked since words can cut rather deeply even in cyberspace. Good luck to you, continue to post where you'd like, and I'm sure you'll find that not everyone is against you.

Well, if you dish it out, you got to take back the onslaught. You cannot be all lovey-dovey with us and then the next psychotically PMS'ing screaming we are condescending. That is too helter-skelter for us here at GC and people start to think you require psychotropic medication. The few of us that are medically trained can evaluate you with differential diagnoses.

For me, personally, it is not what she says or not liking what she said. It is her choice for what I perceive is an attack on my soror and the fact that I made vows to my Sorority to refrain from anyone or anything attacking my members.

Roz, can be angry with me personally. That is fine with me. But, yelling at my other sorors, that I cannot allow. Moreover, I will not allow her to get away with demeaning members of other D9 affiliates. She can say all she wants to them, but she will not get away with it.

So what if she may have come off as offensive to some of you. Why are you going to let her attitude bother you?

As far as I am concerned as long as she is doing what she wants and how she wants it, it really has no direct impact on me or my org. Just because she may not have answered a question to your liking we are all grown, educated women, get over it.

In the time and energy some of you used to attack her, and vice versa, you could have saved a starving child in Africa.

You are right, we should be about programming and community service. And we can forgive improperly stated questions and refrain from responding to stupidity and ignorance. We on GC can let fools slide for asinine things they say... It is one thing to say it on "Greek Life" it is totally another to say it on the AKA Ave., which Roz did and she got corrected. I do not care how angry one gets with us because ultimately it is one less person to think about at Christmastime, but to do it in our own house, well that is foul and we have a right to keep our "houses and streets" clean...

She is not offensive to me either. She is a fool. She can think what she wants about me and say it to my face. Some on GC have PM'ed me and said all kinds of lunacy to me. I am cool. My actions speak louder than word. And still I strive because I am a phenomenal woman, phenomenally...
