I like it sometimes. It makes me sad when I read the articles reporters have written about us because it usually just makes me think about how I would have written it differently. After my life settles down a little bit (getting married in a month), I'm going to start pursuing reporting jobs.

That's funny, I actually used to feel the same way. I thought it helped out a bit to have a journalism background, because when you were trying to pitch things to outlets, you can at least show that you have an understanding of their job and daily demands.

I tried going back to the reporting thing briefly, but I found that I didn't love it as much as I did when I was writing professionally in high school and at the beginning of college (sports and politics reporter for a couple of local papers).

I joke that my career has slowly gotten more cynical, from reporter, to media relations, and now law school...

Oh, and congrats on the upcoming wedding.

I do Client Data Management (manage the information in the database) and Accounts Receivable billing for a satellite networking company. I also back up the Manager of the Dispatch department as necessary.

I'm a District Manager for a retail company (killer hours)

I also run a Greek Store on the side with a couple of my fraternity brothers.
