Any thoughts on this? I went ahead and bought it just because it looks really cool, regardless if it is actually a Lambda Chi ALPHA Pin or not.
In reality I didn't want to get me hopes up that this is a ancient treasure of sorts. It doesn't have the correct number of pearls obviously, and you would have to use your imagination to determine whether an 'A' exists. The seller mentions that it might have been a high school pin, and it immediately reminds me of the Little College Asses story. Who knows? I contacted the seller to find out if he could provide any more information about where it came from.
Regardless it will be a cool treasure to add to the collection.

Yeah, the guy selling these items pretty much knows what he is talking about. He has a magnificent collection of pins, from Skull and Bones, Wolfs Head societies, to some of the most beautiful Opal badges I have ever seen.
If you ever need anything kinda obscure or out there, he is probably the best place to look.

Ok guys, here is a mis-labeled LXA Badge on ebay. I am not wanting to pursue it past my extremely high bid of $51.00, then again I definitely want to see it go into a Brother's hands. If anyone up here is interested it most likely wont go for to much so here is the item number and have fun......

Bairds sold for 77.00.
Speaking of the LX pin that docroc and dever are talking about, I bought from John and had it put with a Y G, opal and ruby Badge.
It really looks great! Will be something that dang few will ever have!
Maybe Trey can post it here for me! Hint, Trey!

Brothers,
I have two of these pins, one with pearls and one without pearls, and they are not Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity pins.
They are Lambda Chi Sorority pins!
I have a number of Dance Cards to verify this....
I collect, among most everything Greek, Lambda stuff.
I like this type the best....
Just a fun, I think valuable but not rare, Lambda Chi Alpha related pin.
Now, what I want is a Lambda Chi and Lambda Chi Alpha Dance Card!
Maybe not as rare as The Fez, but close!
By the by, is there a Lambda Chi Alpha Fez without the Cross & Crescent Badge?
Maybe just a Monogram? Perhaps not, but I am looking for it!

Sorority pin you say? Good thing I am giving it to Tom to use as a badge, will suit him well. (Sorry Tom)
I was pretty sure that this was not a LCA badge. Unless one of Cole's many flaws happened to be that he couldn't count I figured it was out of the realm of possibility. Still cool to have ya know?
Thanks for the great info as always. You are the first person that has been able to identify it.
Cheers,
John
