Replacing badges...
Well, I'm a moron and left my badge on my shirt after chapter one night and proceeded to send it through the washer/dryer. It's only missing the serpent part, luckily. Is there any way I can send it back to HQ or wherever they have them made and have it repaired? I feel absolutely horrible, and never expected this to happen, and now I want to get it repaired as soon as possible. Thanks brothers.

Brother Strubbe:
Perhaps you could try this site?

They can make you a brand new badge. As far as repairing it goes, I'm not sure anyone really does that. It probably would be less expensive to just go ahead and buy a new badge at $76.00.

Thanks Kevin. I'll most likely go through Headquarters just because I'm not much for flashy stuff, even if it is the badge of Sigma Nu.

When I was active, replacement badges were $50.
That same site I showed you has 'em for $80.

I've wondered if that $18 badge is really the right one, if it is I would like to have my chapter order a a bunch so we have temporary badges to give people on initiation, since HQ is ridiculously slow about getting you your stuff.
I've also wondered why they shrank the badges so much. I think the original badges are way cooler (the Commander's Badge is identical to the originals). I would buy one, but theres an assumption now that those are reserved for Commanders only, which really sucks.

Badge
I agree that they are tiny and to get one of the larger ones is SO much more expensive. But I know that eventually I will be getting one of the more modest jeweled ones that is larger just because of the 25% size difference.
Strubbe? Miss ya man. Mu Psi isn't the same without you down here!

That is pretty impressive. Mu Tau's been around as at least a colony since '99 and we're only up in the 70's I think.
Y'all heading for Rock Chapter anytime soon?

Dover - You gonna be in town on the 25th of May? I'll be back down staying with Natalie, and I'm going to be going out on the 25th for my 21st birthday... You need to come out if you're in town.
And yeah, Mu Psi has initiated 90+ brothers so far, and is in the process of going for Rock Chapter last I recall.
I miss y'all down there too. Eta Lambda chapter is great, but it still isn't the same.
