Okay, I just found out who the seller is so I have to retract my earlier statement. He IS a doddering old fool. I'm no longer surprised that he's clueless about other organizations and pins in general.

Honestly it shouldnt have been impossible to figure out. If you clicked the links to his ebay, connected LXA and his grammatical errors, it was only a matter of time, but I thought the geniuses on GC would have gotten that figured out about page 1.........oh well.

I didn't click through to the ebay pages I just guessed.

I'm sure he's done great things for the fraternity, but it's usually those "good ol boys" who have their less acceptable attitudes and behaviors overlooked because they're good brothers for example.

Yeah that type of thing has a tendency of happening every where, and it is sad to see it happen

The man in question does seem to cause alot of uproars all over this site though, but like I said, he has always been more than willing to give me a helping hand, so have no place to talk down about him, instead I feel like every now and then he needs someone in his corner fighting with him, and this particular topic struck hoe with me. Mostly because I know what he is trying to do, I mean if I had the $$$$$ I would buy everything he put up (and he would be more than happy for it to end up in my hands), but alas, I have to get through school at some point too, and spending ALL of my money on badges and historical items is not the answer.

I certainly understand you sticking up for him, at least in this discussion. I still wouldn't sell badges from my own sorority, nor acquire them for any purpose other than collecting (not that I do that either). I'd donate them back to the GLO in question.

As far as you know who, I guess I just wish that things like misogyny didn't only get commented on by the women targeted by the comment. There's no reason why some things should be tolerated. And so on, and so on, ad nauseum... you get the idea.

Funny how the LXA's who are defending this guy just overlook that he IS ripping off people by committing fraud- saying that a 3 year old badge is 103 years old. Obviously y'all either haven't read all of the thread, or you're just choosing to ignore that issue. So YES, your brother is ripping people off, he's committing fraud.
