Just to clarify, in case someone from somewhere other than the South is reading this thread: Not all Southern drawls are "hick". I have a Southern drawl and it's actually quite nice. Sounds like the chick AlphaGam is talking about is a redneck. BIG difference between Redneck speak and Southern drawls.
