Mystic Pizza was written (directed?) by a SK and does have some references.

The Grinch thing is more tenuous and Dr. Seuss' wife -or mistress- wasn't a SK (or a KD which is the other rumor)

dangit i always thought his wife was a SK AND a KD!!!!
