Farewell, Dear Brother...Your Legacy Lives On...

On the day we remember and reflect the death of Brother Martin Luther King
comes news of another great Alpha icon has passed. Brother Robinson
blazed paths that many have yet to understand. He is known for his record
number of wins as a coach; let's set aside the wins for now. The impact he has had on he world of sports and the lives that he has forged with his teaching have immeasurable results. We have heard the names that Bro. Robinson sent to the National Football League, but how many more became pillars of their respective communities, leaders of their families, invaluable resources for those who follow in their footsteps? What a compelling story...

As Bro. Robinson paved the way for many to 1) recognize glass ceilings and
2) devise methods to over come them... he, like Jackie Robinson and Dr. King,
Bro. Robinson was criticized by other African-Americans for not being
militant enough... I have my own opinion about this incredible school of
thought... but, my plan was to keep it short.

Prayers to the Family and the legacy of excellence that this Brother has
left...

He was the type of coach all coaches should look up to. When they made him, they broke the mold

RIP Mr. Robinson
