More crazy school staff: Toronto principal pleads guilty to throwing poo

I'm serious about this!

Quote:
A suspended elementary school principal and sister of Toronto deputy mayor Joe Pantalone has pleaded guilty to throwing feces on a boy in what was described as a moment of extreme stress.

Maria Pantalone, 49, was originally charged with two counts of assault – one against that child and one against another – but only admitted to one of the charges yesterday.

Any day the word "poo" is in a thread title, it's a good day on Greek Chat.

Everything South Park says about Canada is factually correct.

Sometimes I'm relieved by news that points out that people in other countries are equally as crazy Americans. Is this unpatriotic of me?

Don't be misled, we're not crazier. Its just that when stuff happens here its newsworthy, when someone in Canada eats a baby on a street corner it doesn't even warrant a brief article.

I have never figured out how being suspended WITH pay is a punishment. I WISH they would suspend me WITH pay. Free days off? Sounds great.

I cannot imagine any circumstances under which this would be justifiable and I'm betting if she wasn't the mayor's sister, she would have been convicted.

Okay, I'll say up front, what I'm about to mention is really gross: but since we don't know whose poo it was, some situations are a little less completely incomprehensible why she might not have gotten punished more severely. I have no idea what really happened and if you know more, please tell so I can understand it more.

Here's one of my "why she didn't get fired on the spot" theories: If she had cleaned up poo related vandalism multiple times, and was in the act of cleaning it up when on of the vandals returned, and in a fit of anger, threw poo back at one, well, it's not acceptable, but it fits the description of being at her breaking point and snapping.
Similarly, if the kid she threw the poo at wasn't involved in depositing the poo, but happened to enter the story in some minor trouble at about the point that she was dealing with someone's else's poo, . . . it's gross, unacceptable and worthy of punishment, but maybe not ending her career worthy.

I'll be honest but fortunately this doesn't come up a lot for me, I'd try to give people dealing with other people's poo a wide berth. They are probably so disgusted as to be at least someone irrational.

^ Trying to set a record for the number of times "poo" is used in one post?

Well, "love" probably is too strong, but it's addicting.

Why else would you be here?
