Well, I think we should all keep in mind, as has been discussed at length in the past, that alumnae initiation is usually designed to be started by the group, in contrast with undergraduate recruitment.
It's good for the OP to know it's out there so she'll be ready if the opportunity presents itself, but it might make her look bad if she starts approaching groups.
Certainly, looking around the AI forum wouldn't hurt.
