12dn94dst you are correct! The trick is that each row describes the one above it
Thus
1
(One One) 11
(Two Ones)21
(One Two, One One) 1211

Each sentence below contains a word that can be anagrammed to answer or describe the sentence.

Example: Craft that might tip in the ocean. Answer: Canoe (Anagram of ocean)

1. Bit of brush
2. Opposite of unite
3. Writings of a steno
4. They affix without paste
5. Having less reason for fears
6. Animal that may need a shoer

* * * * * * * *

I may look small, but I am not.
I may look close, but I am far.
There can be many of me; there can be few.
You can sometimes see me, but not the most in light.

What am I?

...Moving day

The Smith family is moving to a new house. They have, as pets, a dog, a cat and a mouse. The animals don't get along in the car together so they have to be moved separately. You can't leave the dog and the cat alone, because the dog will chase the cat. You can't leave the cat and mouse together for the same reason.

How can the family move all the pets to the new house?
