I was just initiated yesterday so I need an answer soon so I can let me chapter know in the next few days that I will not be purchasing one through them!

You should go ahead and get the plain silver or plain gold one for $28 through headquarters and then pursue a different one elsewhere. That way you'll have a badge with YOUR chapter and initation # on it. I have my plain silver one, and a pearl one that was passed on to me by an alum.
