I don't remember any version of Robin Hood where Marion is Richard's niece. And in the Disney version, Marion is a vixen, while King Richard the Lionheart and his brother John are, appropriately, lions. So, unless there's some cross-species adoption going on . . . .

I'm ready for my daughter to grow out of Disney princesses, but I don't see it happening any time soon.
