-The original words to the song "Hannah" were written by the collegians in the Alpha Delta chapter in the mid 1920's.
-"Hannah" is not a Raggedy Ann doll. The original was a pigtailed blond wearing a short skirt and a sailor blouse. No one knows when the Raggedy Ann doll became the symbol for Hannah. (eta: I think DG approached HASBRO about Hannah being a Raggedy Ann doll, but HASBRO said no, because Raggedy Ann was already copyrighted [I remember reading this in WATCHWORDS]. I personally believe Raggedy Ann basically came to represent Hannah, since that was THE DOLL of the time..there was no Bratz, no Barbie, no Cabbage Patch Kids.)
Hannah
Well, well, well, Hannah
My Delta Gamma
She's got a figure like a baby grand piana
She's kind of nifty
She weighs two-fifty
But fat girls now and then
Are cherished by the best of men
Well, well, well, Hannah
My Delta Gamma
I'll put my arms around as far as they will go, go, go, go, go
I don't care for other faces
I just go for Hannah's graces
Hannah, my Delta Gamma!
I had to alternate between

and

because I think the words of the song are indicative of another time.
