Good luck. Hope you get some great new members.
Just curious, what are you planning for your philanthropy day? What is your philanthropy? I rushed back when philanthropy was mentioned during rush (not recruitment ) but there wasn't a whole day dedicated to it.

Hey everyone! Well, we had 9 great girls show up tonight!!! We ask that the interested ladies only attend 2 events since most work close to full time jobs, sooooooo we still have plenty more to meet this weekend! The girls were amazing, but unfortunately we have to cut one for not meeting our gpa requirement
Tonight was soooo much fun!! We did an info session and also did some ice breakers and get to know you activities. For one of the activities, we had a couple of the girls partner up and they did a charade type skit that the other girls had to guess...I think that was my favorite part!
Tomorrow is ice cream sundae night!!! We are challenging the girls to bring in the most creative toppings they can think of...should be interesting!
AEPhi - Our philanthropy at the moment (since we're local we have the flexibility to change often) is supporting the troops in Iraq and we have a few activities planned to go along with that. The event does not last the entire day, we only have our room reserved for a 2 hour block.
GOODNIGHT!!!

I just wanted to add that the girls can attend as many events as they'd like but our minimum is 2.

What is your school like, are you the only sorority? Are there other sororities? Are they local or national?

Rhode Island College is a 4 year college. You can check it out if you'd like @ www.ric.edu. We are the only sorority on campus but we have two national fraternities - iota phi theta and alpha phi alpha, but you never see them out recruiting or anything. We are mostly a commuter school but we do have students who live in the dorms.

Last night was our ice cream sundae party! It was great! 7 girls showed up, bringing our total between the 2 days to 13 girls. So far, we have decided 6 yes, 4 maybe, 3 no.
There are still two days of Rush left - today is Philanthropy day and tomorrow night is Board game night.
Frog - We are a social sorority but we are made up of all different backgrounds. We are focused on academic achievement, sisterhood, and philanthropy.
