Actually, it was orthoscopic. The painful part is probably from transplanting the tendon and the two pieces they took out of the kneecap to attach to both ends of the tendon (one for each end).

Really? I had no idea they could now do a patella graft via arthroscopy. It used to be "slice and dice" with a three inch zipper down your knee.

Glad to hear you had the arthroscopy. That should make for a much speedier and less painful recovery.

My quads are screaming right now. It hurts to walk downstairs, and I can barely bend or sit down without being in pain - that's all thanks to a extremely rigorous workout at my Polynesian dance class on thursday.

I had surgery & bone graft on my left finger and physical therapy is worse than the post-op pain! At least for that, there was percocet!

I guess I was mistaken...b/c I do have a 3-4 inch incision scar on my knee. Anyway it gets better...in addition to recovering from this knee operation I got hives in reaction to something. I think it's the painkillers, the dr. doesn't think so.

A rainy Monday, entering Safeway I was not wearing 6 inch stilettos...I was just wearing a pair of Top Siders
"I would like to introduce Jill's left knee to the slippery floor, Wet floor meet Jill's left knee..."

Wound up in the ER for x-rays. I have a bad contusion on my left knee. I have a brace on it right now. No working out for at least a week

All I wanted was to get a freaking all fruit jamba juice!
