The Alpha Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha was founded March 1, 1868 at the University of Virginia, and has been going strong ever since.
Someone once told me that we are one of the few NIC groups whose first chapter has never fallen silent or been recolonized. Anyone else got any info on whether this is true? From many of the posts here, it seems that many groups have had their "first" chapter close at one point or another.
