A-Basin is barebones and the people that go there are a very...specific...type. I think there's some spring skiing event where people go down with costumes on and then barbecue or something like that. Basically the opposite of people in Aspen.

I hear the resorts didn't get much powder this year because it all hit the Denver area instead. True? I know last year the cities got barely any snow and the mountains got hit hard.

Loveland is bare bones and on the hyw. to the hole in the wall, it is a day trip from Denver.

A-Basin the same only harder. Over the pass and throught the tundra so to speak.

Cannot remember the town just off of I-70 just West of Silverthorn that is close to:

Breck
Keystone
Copper
Vail
Sunlight

God hell to get mature and miss skiing!

I think the major areas are in pretty good shape. There was a lot of early season snow in the mountains -- and some opened early. I haven't heard that there are any problems.
