I'm heading to Lodge Bar to watch "THE" game with my OU friends. I'll be wearing my OU hoodie proudly in the land of scarlett and grey.
GO BOBCATS!

That's great!
When I was the President of the Denver Chapter of the Ohio University alumni association, we would have had a big crowd together at a sports bar to watch the game.
Unfortunately, the chapter doesn't seem interested any more.
Our daughter (O.U. '99) may come over to watch with us.
(I will wear my alumni sweatshirt. Tip a couple for me!!!)

Anyone who wonders why Nebraska fired 9-3 Frank Solich.
Watch the GMAC Bowl.
Any questions?

He's still far better in my book than Hillbilly Calahan.
Nebraska dominated with the Triple Option, huge linemen, and great defense. They were famous for having coaches who were well-respected as well as having lots of academic All Americans. That was Nebraska football.
Now it's this West-Coast thing which has failed to win them any big games and a coach who can't keep his foot out of his mouth.

Well, it helps if there is a quarterback who can play and a defense that can tackle.
Pretty sad showing by my team.

Whose bright idea was it to have the championship bowl game on a Monday night? Someone who doesn't have to work the next day, apparently.

You can charge more for commercials in prime time on Monday night and not be in conflict with the NFL. Blame it on TV.

Hasn't the championship game been on a weeknight for the last several years? I don't think this is something new.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the most recent championship games have been on weeknights, so when I heard that tonight's game was on a Monday, I wasn't too surprised.

I like how FOX is showing the bands, I don't think I've seen as much extra coverage on other networks. I've never seen the band spell out "OHIO" before. Pretty cool.
Enjoy, everyone!
