And PS...I've already thought about the risk mgmt implications to my sorority, so go ahead and lump me into to what you are trying to make fun of if you'd like.

Sorry, but please!

Anyone else have advice?
I believe Earp was trying to dog SAE when a member died.

Yes and I get that turn around is fair play, but Earp's not even in this thread.

Dog Earp when he deserves it. Just not everyone else too.

I don't think I dogged anyone else.

Trish, I'm sooo sorry.

When I am standing next to someone at the checkout counter and they have their SSN card in their wallet, I want to remind them that that's a stupid thing to do (okay, I'd be nicer.

In my job, we get calls several times a week about stolen identity whether it's the whole name/dob/ssn or name or ssn.

We can't take the inaccurate info off the bad guy's record unless we get a letter from the arresting agency giving us permission to take it off.

Well, I've spent a lot of time digging around the IRS website, etc. I took care of my personal information (bank, credit unions, FTC) very quickly because that piece was a no brainer. Getting a new TIN from the IRS appears to be more difficult, but doable.

Thanks for those who offered their advice. Thanks AZ-AlphaXi....I left Tori a message, though I haven't heard from her yet.
