As tears roll down my cheeks while I type, I am uplifted and smile at the ouupouring of love and support everyone is giving...Sadly here in the Northwest, a week before Courtney's passing we lost a sister at Linfield College in an auto accident...

Courtney had a sassiness, lovely and heartfelt, but an adorable sass about her that was only equaled by her enormous heart for her sisters and Alpha Phi...She once told me that her doctor scheduled a chemo appointment...She got bothered and told him she couldn't make it because she had to be at rush that week at SFSU...THAT was Courtney!!!

Although not here, she is in a good place and is smiling down upon us reminding us to not look like hoochy girls or showing her lovingly frank and forward guidance as an adviser...I wish so much I could be in California for the services...It is pouring rain here in PDX - yucky windy and cold...I know it is sunny and warm there and where Courtney is - she's also being a big sis to Chelsea Peterson who passed away just a few days prior to Courtney...You go girls! May we all find peace in our hearts and replace the pain with fond memories...We love you!

AOE J.
