Your Result: The Insland North
You may think you speak "Standard English straight from the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."
I'm from Denver - but I do call carbonated drinks pop

You attract Geeks!
Your stunning intellect and love of sci-fi and video games allures the geeks like nothing else. Maybe it is the sparkle in your eye that makes them want to text you, who knows. Geeks make good partners, but tend to be arguementative. If you are a TRUE geek magnet, you will know if that was spelled correctly, and actually care. If it is a bad-boy/bad-girl you are seeking, you are barking up the wrong tree, unless they are just 'bad' behind a PS2 console.
Sweet, I love my geek

Although I'm a midwest woman I've been told I have a southern accent.

You attract Yuppies!
You attract the very well-dressed, job oriented type of people. They usually have their finances together, are 'middle of the road' on most topics, generally happy with the 'main-stream' of things. If it is stability you are after, these are good people to attract, if you seek adventure, it may be time for an overhaul.
I like Yuppies, but Yuppies don't like me right now. I haven't dated one in about 6 months, dang it.

Congrats, something about you makes those model-quality people flock to you. This is good for obvious reasons - they look great, just having them nearby attracts other models, and it opens doors for you - like exclusive clubs and whatnot. If you are seeking pure physical beauty, you are all set. If you are seeking someone that is not cynical and slightly bitter about humans in general, someone focused on the human condition and intellect, then you are out of luck - but who cares, you attract models!

First of all, Y did I feel really dumb taking this test . . . I was pronouncing words and sounds over and over again .. . kinda like when a child is learning to read.
Anyway . . the test says I have a Philly accent . . .Funny enough though I'm from CT originally, and have never been to Philly . . ever . . Although I must say that people have asked me, especially when I was in H.S, where I was from because they though I had an accent. Some thought I was from NY. While the New Yorkers I've met since I've moved here definately know I'm not from around here from the way I speak. I was told "Ur definately NOT a burough chick" whatever that means.
I always chalked it up to my Northeast mixing with the West Indian in me . . oh well I 'm confused

Boston! Totally wrong! Yuck!
I can't stand Boston accents. I normally have the "newscaster" accent, but if I'm in ny for a while I start to pick that up.
