Rest In Peace, Bo. You will be sorely missed by your fans. You were the best. Watch over our guys tomorrow and help lead them to victory. We love you.

I saw that. How sad he died the eve of the big game.
Hopefully he'll lead them to victory tomorrow.

There are actually people in my office who were crying. They were at U-Mich during Bo's reign. We have decided that, if you see a field goal kick that doesn't look quite straight enough or strong enough, but it suddenly makes it through the posts, we'll know Bo is there.

ANd if you see one that doesn't look quite straight then suddenly starts to make it and then doesn't that's because Woody has tackled Bo to stop him from helping.
I actually remember Bo speaking at an event in Ohio shortly after Woody died. They really were good friends-- it's too bad the current coaches don't have that kind of relationship. Like I said before- it made the rivalry fun.

That it did.
Going to be an emotional day in The Horseshoe tomorrow.

I personally prefer coaches who go after one another. Fulmer-Spurrier, Dye-Bryant, Tuberville-Sherrill...

Congrats to Frank Solich and OU (and DeltAlum) for winning the MAC East...I'm really happy for Frankie (I get to call him that b/c my aunt and uncle - my mom's younger siblings - were at Lincoln Southeast when he first started coaching) that he was able to take Ohio so quickly to the MAC championship game. Hopefully he's stays there in Athens for a while as it's a place where I think he can really do a lot of good - the expectations aren't nearly so high, but he can still be successful. Of course I'm hoping even harder for Turner Gill to work some magic in Buffalo (which I think he can) so that the MAC east is an all Nebraska roots affair each and every season.
I'm probably going to be a bigger Buffalo fan so long as Turner is there (because Turner is probably one of, if not THE, most beloved Husker ever), but he's got a long way to go.

Small note:
Coach Bo was a SAE Brother.

Sad about Michigan. Hate to see OSU get the win. However, eat me Bama!

I watched the Iron Bowl today and I noticed a lot of Auburn fans in JEANS. How tacky and northern of them.

Bo- rest in peace. You helped make this rivalry fun. However I still hope Fichigan loses. I know you and Woody will be watching this game together tomorrow!
GO BUCKS!
And congratulations to Ohio University for being the East Division Champions! Good luck in the Conference Championship game!
Go Bobcats!

Hey, thanks to you and BigRedBeta for the kind comments.
I've always been a fan of collegiate sports on the more minor level, and after being through years of university administrations who didn't support our teams, it's great to see what is, hopefully, the beginning of a comeback for Ohio Football. It's fun to watch a game where all of the players don't expect to compete on Sunday afternoons -- and where graduation levels are in the 80 to 90 percentages.
I wish I could spend every glorious Fall football Saturday in in the Hocking Hills in Athens.

No need to thank me- They are my Bobcats too! I've already ordered my championship long sleeve tee shirt from the College Bookstore and matching ones for my two little boys (and future Bobcats)
