It's a lyric to a song by Widespread Panic. "In the easy chair with my boots on....melted whiskey in my hand...couldn't have been asleep for more than three hours....time to go to work again."

Melted whiskey refers to a glass of whiskey with just ice.....the ice having melted into the whiskey.
