The Rho Chis in my rush group were pretty easy to guess; some of them had dark, bobbed hairstyles and hornrimmed eyeglassas in in colors like blue or red. So it was obvious to anyone in the greek system at that time and place that these girls were Tri Deltas. Chi Omegas were easy to spot because of their cashmere twinsets and discrete pears and their almost uniform long, wavy, chunckily highlighted, blonde heads.

That's pretty funny, but thats what I thought she was talking about too.
I know my Rho Gamma was a ZTA and she the steroetyped ZTA. She was thin, with dark hair, and mediteranian look about her. Although there are differences with ZTA, it seems a good majority of them has these looks. I love the ZTA girls here...they are soo nice!

Heh, so here goes Rho Chi round number 2 for yours truly. I'm interested to see what my PNMs think I am. I'm matched with a girl from another sorority, and she and I mesh well...truth is, I can see her being in my sorority! We might just fake 'em out. Now, if only the boys would TAKE ME OUT OF THE FACEBOOK PHOTOS FOR THE LOVE OF PETE!

One of mine was a DG and the other one was an AOPi. I knew the one was a DG, but I had NO idea the other one was an AOPi!
I thought she was a TriDelt...we all did...we even had to guess after pref night and not a single person got it right!
The following day when she revealed she was in AOPi, I was SO excited! She definitely kept her cool when I got my bid card--trying to act happy for me but not TOO excited--it was amazing.

LOLOL!!! I just now finally read this. Nah, S., it's just a typo for "pearls". Pittspeak back then for big boobs was, if I recall correctly, "bodacious tatas"!

I *thought* my RG was an Alpha Chi. I was so convinced of it and I liked her so much that I felt really guilty when I regretted Alpha Chi on the first round of invites. Sooooo ... I then proceeded to accept their invite when they re-invited and released Tri-Delta thinking that I was showing her that I was really interested in being in whatever organization she was a part of. Anyway ... a few days later, I actually picked Alpha Phi feeling terribly guilty that I wasn't putting her sorority on my list for Preference. On bid day, I found out she was a Tri-Delt. I was totally clueless during recruitment!
Moral of the story: Don't try to please your RG.

Well one of my rho chi's was an AXO - except her chapter put a little video clip in their slide show and I look up and go, "hey, that's my rho chi!"
My other rho chi was a Kappa (Though at first I thought she was a ChiO). Going back to the whole rho chi really liking a certain PNM thing - I loved my rho chi, but she did seem to really really get along with one girl in my recruitment group. They would always sit there and talk in between parties and before getting invites. Well after pref parties, we were walking to go pref chapters and my rho chi was talking to this girl who had gone to Kappa and another chapter's pref parties. The girl was weighing the pros and cons of each chapter when I see my rho chi look at her and smile and whisper something in her ear after which the girl was jumping up and down and getting excited. Low and behold, the next day the girl received a bid from and pledged Kappa. Actually come to think of it, there was another girl in a group that knew our rho chi was a kappa because the rho chi had dated her brother. The girl skipped out on her last party of 1st round (a BIG no-no that will usually result in you being cut from recruitment) because she didn't particularly 'like' the house though she'd never visited it before. Nothing ever happened, and in fact that girl ended up going Kappa as well.

Mine was a Pi Phi. Her sisters gave her away by dancing around her when they were doing cheers since that didn't happen at any of the other houses.
We didn't have a big reveal or any formal guessing though. It sounds like other schools have some great traditions!
