as for doing background checks, no, we don't. however, if someone tries to get around this and is caught, it's not pretty.
i do believe other NPHC sororities are the same as us.
i swear that Facebook will trip up a bunch of folks ...i wonder what org. this woman is in...

Sigma Gamma Rho has the same policy. And I'm curious as to what organization this young lady joined as well.

Buttonz, it would be un-panhellenic if you didn't tell us which org the hussy joined.

Inquiring minds want to know. It obviously bothers you. If you put her on blast, it would no longer be an issue since I'm guessing she'd be promptly expelled (since I'm sure the NPHC women on GC are well connected).

I know! I don't want to get on his bad side, or he will call me a hussy, lol!
Buttonz,
Seriously, I would follow ladygreek's advice and PM a member of the sorority involved.

Personally, I would have a huge problem with this because of ritual and the loyalty we pledge; however, I think there's a difference between "frowned upon" and "policy" I would think that if SDT does not have a policy against a NPHC member joining than it will be difficult to revoke her membership. If the NPHC Org does not have a policy that a NPC women cannot affiliate than they too would have a difficult time revoking her membership.
Would I act upon this information if I knew it was more than just "frowned upon"? Yes. However, if I knew that there were no policies to deal with this issue I would move on.

Not only is she not active in SDT, she has removed all references to SDT, which was still up there after the chapter was closed.
