Oh definitely, I never had delusions either, it's just that the levels of impartiality surprise me sometimes. Seven years living in Boston dulled me to it a bit though when I was reading it every day. Between the Globe and the Herald, there's no middle ground.

The wine and beer thing was annoying; now that I'm out of the state, it's nice to be able to stop by the grocery store to pick up a 6 pack or whatever. Who knows though, they did take away the ban on Sundays.

Also, Heath Shuler won - hopefully he ends up as a better Congressman than NFL QB:

BTW, looks like they're calling Montana for the Democrats leaving only Virginia to go (and there'll almost certainly be a recount there as the margin is small enough that the state will do it for free at the loser's request.)

/Not sure if everyone's calling it or not but there's about a 4,000 vote difference with 99% reporting.

A better picture.

The doll's dress matches the kid's.

I'm sorry (ah, who am I kidding...I'm not!), but that's one ugly family.

I bet that's not an American Girl doll either. Apparently they donate money to women's centers... some of which MIGHT, MAYBE go to abortion.

/or something.

Seriously...why is the girl making such a terrible face? It's like her life is ruined b/c daddy didn't get re-elected.
They look freaking miserable. I guess it's because he's going to be home a hell of a lot more.

Sadly, no, it was from Tuesday night. I saw the live footage.

She's probably crying because her father exploited the hell out of her and her siblings for his own personal gain then didn't even win.

She may also be crying because maybe now they'll have to move back to their two/three (can't remember which- either way, WAY too small for the size of the family) bedroom home in Penn Hills (suburb of Pittsburgh)- back story- this is the home they claim as their official residence, though they've never lived there. There was also a huge stink when the public got wind that even though they all lived in Virginia, since their "official" residence was that home in Penn Hills, the Penn Hills school district had to pay a bazillion dollars for the Santorum clan's cyber schooling.

She's actually trying to squeeze a huge turd out into her plaid diaper. You're all wrong! It's the steaming pile of injustice in her pants.

She's crying because if she walks around Penn Hills dressed like that she is going to get beat up.

33girl mentioned that the Santorum kids were dressed like the Amish.

The doll that kid's holding looks like it got the beat down after daddy didn't get re-elected.

The more I look at that picture the funnier it is. They remind me of the quiver full Duggars.

And Virginia has now been called. It is believed that Allen will concede by tomorrow night.
